Kendall and Kylie Through the Years

We first met Kendall and Kylie Jenner in 2007 when Keeping up with the Kardashians premiered on E!. At the time, Kendall, 12 years old, was a moody tween, and Kylie, 10 years old, was still learning about tampons. Fast forward ten years: Kendall has walked virtually every major runway and Kylie has her own cosmetic and fashion empire. Here is a look at Kendall and Kylie’s major transition from typical California girls to high fashion queens.

Kendall and Kylie were still in their tween years, fighting with their siblings and begging their parents for a dog. Their fashion choices consisted of mixed prints, bright colors, and coordinating outfits. I can confidently say that they would be horrified looking at this picture (I like to think that we’re friends).

At 15 and 13, Kendall and Kylie began to develop their own styles. We started to see more edgy fashion choices from Kylie, while Kendall embodied more of a tomboy chic look.

16-year-old Kendall Jenner walked her first runway for Sherri Hill. Nowadays, she walks for designers such as Chanel, Fendi and Diane Von Furstenberg, but at the time, this show was a big deal. Oh, how times have changed.

The sisters partnered with Pacsun to create their first clothing line. This collection represented the typical Cali girl, complete with rompers, flirty tanks and high waisted shorts.

Kendall began walking for major designers such as Givenchy and Marc Jacobs, sporting some pretty risky looks. Also this year, Kendall and Kylie published a book together titled, “Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia.” Do we believe that they actually wrote this book? Unclear.

Kylie released her first three Lip Kits—Candy K, Dolce K, and True Brown K. Since her first release, Kylie has created a multi-product empire, selling everything from Kyshadows to the Kylie Calendar to sweatshirts featuring half-naked pictures of the King herself.

Kendall and Kylie debuted their high fashion line called Kendall+Kylie. As a major step up from their Pacsun collection, this line is sold in stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales.

At New York Fashion Week, Kendall and Kylie released their latest Kendall+Kylie collection titled DropOne. This new collection features everything from fancy sweatpants to $900 leather jackets. The girls have come a long way from the days of matching zebra print outfits. I can only imagine what they have in store for us next.
