Miss Sohee Blossoms at Paris Haute Couture Week Debut

In Miss Sohee’s Spring 2025 Haute Couture collection, florals for spring are fresh, dramatic and ready to take on the season in style.

The House is known for endlessly feminine and sculptural silhouettes, especially corsetry, butterfly and pearl motifs and intricate embroidery inspired by the designer’s Korean roots. Spring 2025 marks the House’s Paris Haute Couture Week debut. The show delivered as usual, showcasing 25 feminine and dramatic looks.

The show took place in Hôtel Pozzo di Borgo, a Paris mansion once owned by famed designer Karl Lagerfeld. The runway was dripping with flowers, making the venue as opulent and intricate as the collection itself.

Model Coco Rocha opened the show in a revealing black leather corset with clamshell attachments over the hips. This was paired with a choker, over-the-knee black leather lace-up stiletto boots and a full body — including the face — black floral lace covering.

The collection was another celebration of the female form, with more clamshell corsetry and one model for Look 6 carrying a cast of a woman’s torso. It also showcased sheer draping, head and face lace covering and a soft feminine pastel color palette. Every intricate detail added to the looks, like geometric clutches and elaborate headpieces and hairstyles, down to the strings of pearls down the models’ parts and blooming branch decals on their shoulders.

One standout was Look 16, a periwinkle strapless down with pearl branch and crystal detailing. The slightly sheer bodice highlights the corset boning, which along with the neckline continues the repeating shell motif. The light romantic feminine color and crystal placement that simulates ruffles make the look at once both delicate and striking.

Another great look was Ensemble 12, an elegant strapless gown draped with a gauzy trailing sash that is at once light blue, metallic lavender and a rich navy. The sash was embroidered with iridescent white flowers, invoking regality and poise.

Dramatic, natural, classic and yet fresh and at times even wearable, Miss Sohee’s Paris Haute Couture Week debut is one to remember. Certainly, this is a House to watch and one we will undoubtedly see more of.
