STITCH x #mayFIT: Lookbook
See how STITCH would have dressed for Dillo Day in their #mayFITs and learn how they’ve spent their spring quarter at home!
“Very sad to miss Spring Quarter (objectively the best quarter) and Dillo Day on campus this year, but I am excited to see the creativity of students who are making online alternatives to our traditions possible! I've spent a lot of my Spring Quarter At Home learning how to cook, painting, and trying to keep active.”
– Daniella Ueki
“Oh, how I wish I could judge everyone’s questionable choices at my first Dillo Day. Well, this will have to do! I’ve been really busy in quarantine so far with work and school, but I did find the time to binge Schitt’s Creek and rewatch Rupaul’s Drag Race with my family.”
– Jude Cramer
“It’s a shame we can’t all be on campus for spring quarter but it has been really fun to work on -things- with STITCH and watching everyone use their own imagination and creativity! During my spring quarter, I have been baking, reading, watching movies and shows, and just trying to find some balance and make the most of being home! My quarantine playlists fluctuate with my moods but let’s just say there’s a mix of Cage the Elephant, Sinatra, FINNEAS, Lauv, and basically no pattern to the mess that is my Spotify account right now :) ”
– Michelle Gozdanker
“I’ve been living in sweatpants and hoodies all quarantine, so I was happy to have a chance to dress up! Definitely bummed that I can’t see everyone’s Dillo fits this year though :( During quarantine, I’ve been playing a lot of Animal Crossing and doing lots of face masks. Hope everyone is staying safe!”
– Tiffany Xu
“I’m sad I don't get to see everyone’s Dillo fits in person but I’m glad I can still show mine off! During the remote quarter I’ve been doing a lot of baking, trying to get every power moon in Super Mario Odyssey, and making a ton of fun earrings like the ones I’m wearing here. My quarantine playlists mostly consist of lofi study music, The Decemberists, and Begonia!”
– Annika de Vogel
“We were talking about our would-be Dillo Day Fits and realized we both bought essentially the same shirt with the sole intent of showing off when we go out. Since there is no such thing as going out (for now!) we figured we could show off our matching leopard print looks from the comfort of our couch. Originally we were going for simple fit pics but got a little overzealous with props from our pantry (s/o Wholefoods) and color changing lightbulbs. Three hours and one snack break later, our tops got the attention they deserved.”
– Sharlene Bugos and Max Han
“During quarantine, I have been running, reading, rediscovering old music, and exploring a lot of new artists. The last 3 songs I listened to are Blue World by Mac Miller, Chicago Diner by KOTA The Friend, and So Fresh, So Clean by Outkast.”
