JUXTAPOSITION
One of the key tenets of camp in fashion is the extravagance and exaggeration and how what might be seen as “bad taste” can really be stylish and fun, often challenging traditional notions of elegance and refinement in fashion. We took the whimsical and impractical camp aesthetics into classrooms and stores, experimenting with the juxtaposition of formal attire and a casual setting in which they did not belong in.
