Men's NYFW Roundup

It’s like Christmas time for any fashion lover. That’s right, New York Fashion Week is here. But just a week ago, starting on January 30th, Men’s New York Fashion Week was up and running. Here are STITCH’s top four most memorable moments from Men’s Fashion Week.

Palomo Spain

Perhaps one of the biggest hits was Palomo Spain’s show. In this show, they showed men were styled in stereotypical women’s fashion. Through lingerie and dresses, they embraced the untraditional and took a new stance on menswear.

Buzz Aldrin and Bill Nye

Buzz Aldrin and Bill Nye strutted their stuff on the runway. Modeling for Nick Graham, they both decided to take a hiatus from their science careers and hit up NYFW. Nye wore a shimmery blazer and Aldrin wore a metallic bomber, emphasizing the technological and metallic look of the show.

‘90s Chic

Fashion always repeats itself, and recently the ‘90s have been all that. This trend was everywhere at  Men’s New York Fashion Week, as many ‘90s looks made an appearance. This featured look is from Nautica, and the blocked jeans look may be making an appearance in a store near you.

Goth Punk Sporty Funk

Black is back, and it’s fiercer than ever. In this Donald Duncan look, a new take on sportswear mixed with punk is present. Through this new fashion trend called ‘Health Goth’ in which workout wear takes a goth spin, Duncan presented a new look. Shorts for the fall? We’re all for it when it’s fashion forward.

All in all, Men’s New York Fashion Week was a huge success, and STITCH is ready to see what wonders Women’s New York Fashion Week has in store.
