Movers and Shakers: Dani, Corporate Director of STITCH
Meet Dani, Northwestern junior and corporate director of STITCH.
What’s your personal style?
I’m a huge believer in finding what works for you and recreating it over and over again. I think my personal style is constantly evolving, but lately I’ve been going for a cleaned up downtown look—think boyfriend jeans and a silky tank.
Why’d you join STITCH?
Before I even got to Northwestern, I knew I wanted to be on STITCH. I loved the idea of a community centered around fashion. So many of the opportunities I’ve had to grow and try new things in college have come from STITCH. Plus, STITCH is the best place on campus for fashion and beauty advice from (basically) pros.
How else do you contribute to the NU community?
In addition to STITCH, I’m editor of the Life & Style section for NBN, the school’s premier online publication. Outside of journalism, I serve as Director of Social Events (read: date party planner) for Delta Gamma and Fundraising Director for various student productions on campus.
What’s your favorite piece of clothing right now?
I recently found my hail-mary, perfect jeans from GRLFRND denim. I always have a hard time finding good jeans because I’m super short (just barely 5’1"!). This pair is perfectly slouchy, slightly high waisted and makes every outfit look totally effortless.
